Creative: Water

The glass stands solitary on the table. It is filled almost to the brim, it is undisturbed and the surface is as flat as paper, the liquid within is clear and pure.

Slowly ripples appear on the surface, starting from the core and dilating outwards before hitting the side.

A girl appears in the doorway, her cheeks are red and her hair is messy, her eyes search the room before resting on the glass, she eagerly grabs it with both hands and drinks for twelve slow seconds, her teeth clunking against the glass with every gulp, she puts it back on the table, regains her breath and runs back outside.

The glass is left empty with dirty fingerprints on the side and a smudge on the rim where her mouth had been, it doesn't look good now, where it had one been pure and serene it was now simply just a drink.
