Economics

AS level - 100% examination

A2 level - 100% examination

Why should I follow this course?

Why is the price of petrol so high? Why is it so expensive to buy a house in Bristol?  What do stock markets do? How does the rise of China or India as economic superpowers affect us? Who benefits from globalisation? Can trade or aid really help poor countries? These are just a few examples of the questions economics deals with. Economic issues are all around us and we all make economic decisions every day. The course will help you understand how the economy works and how it shapes our lives. In addition, it will improve your understanding of current affairs and give you the tools to make sense of the most pressing issues of our time.

What can I do when I have my qualification?
