Level 2 Courses

BTEC courses

• Business: level 2 BTEC first diploma
  This is a ONE year course, equivalent to 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above.
  You will learn about the importance of businesses, how they operate and you will look into the financial aspects of running a business.
• Health & social care: level 2 BTEC first diploma
  This is a ONE year course, equivalent to 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above. You will gain knowledge and understanding of a range of issues related to other caring professions.     
• Travel & tourism: level 2 BTEC first diploma
  This is a ONE year course, equivalent to 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above. This course has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of one of the world’s fastest growing industries, travel and tourism.

GCSE courses

• English GCSE
  GCSE English is a basic requirement for nearly all walks of life. Grade C or above in GCSE English is an entry requirement for many jobs and careers, and for most university and college courses.
• Latin GCSE
  This is a ONE year course. Studying Latin provides you with the opportunity of understanding the structure of many European and Asiatic languages.
• Mathematics GCSE
  If you wish to improve the grade you achieved in GCSE maths then this course is ideal as it offers the opportunity of achieving a grade C.
• Spanish GCSE
  This is an opportunity to learn Spanish from the beginning, either for travel purposes or to be able to take a GCSE qualification after one or two years.
