Why should I follow this course?
This is an intensely practical course for students who are interested in all aspects of performing. It helps you understand what goes into managing a successful performance with the opportunity to specialise in drama, dance or production. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of different styles and gain an insight into the world of the professional performer.

What teaching and learning methods will be used?
This is a very practical, hands on course encouraging experimentation and independent learning. You will be expected to manage your own rehearsal time, learn lines and write portfolios as homework. There are no written examinations. Learning is by planning, doing, seeing and reflecting. When possible we will invite professional practitioners in to work with you.
What can I do when I have my qualification?
The course offers a uniquely practical pathway into a wide range of professional options, including further education, training or relevant employment. You will develop skills in communication, co- operation, planning and evaluation which will be valued in all walks of life.
What minimum qualification will I need?
NBP16C level 3 entry requirement. GCSE drama or dance would be useful but not essential. Other experience will be considered.
