Why should I follow this course?

You are interested in the big scientific ideas and you enjoy reading about science in the newspapers or popular science journals such as New Scientist or Scientific American. You probably enjoy discussing and debating scientific ideas with other students and you are interested in the ways in which science impacts on our lives at the personal and global level. You enjoy doing independent research, like to pursue ideas that really interest you, and want to develop your written and spoken skills so that you can communicate effectively your understanding and enthusiasm to others.
