NBP16C to Welcome Lord Rosser on 15 October

HOUSE OF LORDS “PEERS IN SCHOOLS” VISIT

We are pleased to announce a visit and talk from Lord Rosser under the House of Lords “Peers in Schools” programme. The talk will take place at the P16 Centre in Charnwood as follows:

Friday 15^th October 2010

11.00am arrival

11.15 am talk and Q&A session about the work and role of the House of Lords

All students attending should arrive in G001 (P16 hall) in Charnwood P16 Centre by 11.05am. Latecomers will not be allowed in once the talk has started.

Lord Rosser is a Labour peer and opposition whip, who was Chair of the Labour Party in 1997-8 and whose political interests include transport, employment, the criminal justice system and the treatment of offenders.
