Oscars Night 2010

Recently, the North Bristol Post 16 Centre held a glitzy, glamorous night to remember, to celebrate the fantastic practical work of the Year 12 and Year 13 Media and Film students. 

All the stars turned out and their print work was displayed on boards around the hall and their moving image work was watched on the night.

The Oscar trophys were given out to the winners of the categories; Best Short Film, Best Film Sequence, Best Trailer, Best Year 12 Print and Best Year 13 Print.

Oscar Winners:

Best short Film (Year 13 Film Studies): Rhianna and Jamie

Best film sequence (Year 12 Film Studies): Tess, Kai, Jessica and Tom.

Best Trailer (Year 12 Media Studies): Mary and Catherine

Best Year 12 Print: Athena

Best Year 13 Print: Ed
