Vietnam Trip Fundraising Update

The team of Post 16 students that will be travelling to Vietnam in the Summer have raised an incredible £4000 so far. Recently, they also organised two events, a fashion show and the Post 16 Oscars Evening, which will raise further funds that can be added to this total. Big thanks to everyone who has supported them so far in their fundraising efforts!

The students will be travelling to Vietnam from school on Wednesday, 13 July and will be staying in a local village for five days to get involved with a community based project, where they will really be making a difference to people’s lives. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to soak up the culture and customs of the Vietnamese people, as well as helping a remote Vietnamese community in a very practical way.

Students will also be participating in two treks, one in the North of the country for five days and one in the jungle for three days, in addition to having the opportunity to visit places of interest, such as Ha Long Bay and the Mekong Delta.
