Writing Room

Have you ever fancied yourself a budding novelist or a journalist? Do you enjoy being creative? Do you write for pleasure and would welcome support and inspiration from a group of likeminded students? If you do then you may be interested in finding out more about Writing Room.

Writing Room is a group for talented writers in Year 12 and 13. They meet regularly on a Wednesday (Week A) in AG1 between 3.15pm and 4.15pm at Charnwood House. Refreshments are included and they occasionally have guest speakers. Last term they were visited by the Deputy Editor of the Evening Post.

If you would like to get creative and start writing articles, short stories, poems, plays or novels or if you already write and would like to hone your skills as a writer, then go along to one of their meeting. You never know where it may take you!
